I was intending to paint a 1966 Volvo at the home of my intern Greg Prichard. My goal was to roll the car from the garage and portray it in front of the garage door and the back yard. The doors were covered with old signage, and the portrait of the car seemed a perfect subject that combined "Radnor" with "cars."
The car, which had not been moved in years, would not budge, and the rear view of the car was not quite what I wanted. Leaving the residence, I noticed a green house that I had always loved. I noticed that it was almost the exact color for my MG that I had driven to Greg's house that day.
I moved the car across the street in front of the house, and found my subject.
