Wicker's Dream

Wicker Francis loves Alfas, and has restored two prior to starting work on this prototype racing machine originally designed by the Italian design firm, Barone, in1956 as an exercize to build a low wind resistance shape for racing.

This example, car number 248, was badly deteriorating in Nashville, when Wicker bought it for rebuilding. When I found the car it had just come back from receiving its paint, a perfect time for it to reflect the images of Wicker's house and his neighborhood.
