"Snow"mad Kip (George) Craven had this '57 Nomad for more than 30 years. When I started painting the car and truck series, I asked him if he would leave it out before the first major snowfall. We had scoped out a location, but I changed my mind and asked him to leave it in his driveway. I wanted to be sure there would be no plowing. I got to his house about 6:45 the next morning. It was raining when I got there, but there was just the right amount of snow on the car. I cleaned up the environment, but the aqua of the car shows much the way it did against the grayed-down day.
