Field of Aspens On a trail leading to the reservoir, my wife an I discovered a beautiful group of white aspens in direct morning sun. The sky was perfectly blue and the scene vivid. By the time I completed the painting, the sun had traveled shadowing the right sides of the grove and burning my pallet dry. The flies so came out in late morning creating an annoyance .
