North Wayne Avenue offers a wide variety of homes, from small cottages, like the red house shown, to much larger Victorians and early 20th century development houses. Situated on a corner, this delightful home features a wrap-around porch and a lawn full of yellow-green ferns.

I began painting the house in early afternoon on the Saturday before Memorial Day. The street was quiet and no one parked in front of where I was painting. The day was sunny, and dappling moved across the house the entire afternoon.
