Wicker Francis has restored two prior to starting work on this prototype racing machine designed by the Italian design firm, Barone, in 1956 as an exercise to build a low wind resistance shape for racing.
This example, car number 248, was badly deteriorating in Nashville when Wicker bought it for rebuilding. When I came upon the car, it had just come back from receiving paint.
